Background:
I am a recently retired Irish woman, I lived in Zimbabwe for over 25 years, and returned to Ireland in 2002. I like travelling, writing, blogging, hillwalking, and have recently taken up golf. My children are all grown up and scattered all around the world, - Zimbabwe, Norway, Dubai and Dublin (more places for me to visit!) but it’s great to have them home so that I can indulge my passion for making ‘mammy dinners’ (usually roast beef and Yorkshire pudding).
