In trading on Friday, the Gold Miners ETF is outperforming other ETFs, up about 2.7% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Eldorado Gold, up about 24.2% and shares of Harmony Gold Mining, up about 9.7% on the day.

Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the BBJP ETF, where 22,000,000 units were destroyed, or a 12.3% decrease week over week. And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the Daily Natural Gas Related Bear 3X Sharess, which lost 50,000 of its units, representing a 28.6% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior.

Comparing units outstanding versus one week ago at the coverage universe of ETFs at ETF Channel, the biggest inflow was seen in the USO ETF, which added 10,300,000 units, or a 7.6% increase week over week. And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest increase in inflows was the Daily MSCI Japan Bull 3X Shares, which added 50,000 units, for a 33.3% increase in outstanding units.

The iShares Edge MSCI Multifactor USA Small-Cap ETF is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Thursday, with over 206,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 43,000. Shares of SMLF were off about 1.2% on the day.

And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the ProShares ProShares UltraShort Bloomberg Natural Gas, which lost 100,000 of its units, representing a 36.4% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior.

The iShares Global Healthcare ETF is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Wednesday, with over 359,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 98,000. Shares of IXJ were up about 0.5% on the day.
