The Invesco S&P 500— Pure Value ETF is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Friday, with over 458,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 274,000. Shares of RPV were off about 1.8% on the day.

In trading on Friday, the Gold Miners ETF is outperforming other ETFs, up about 1.5% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Gold Fields Limited, up about 4.6% and shares of Kirkland Lake Gold, up about 4.4% on the day.

Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the Gold Miners ETF, where 13,400,000 units were destroyed, or a 3.1% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of GDX, in morning trading today Newmont is up about 1.4%, and Barrick Gold is up by about 0.3%.

Comparing units outstanding versus one week ago at the coverage universe of ETFs at ETF Channel, the biggest inflow was seen in the iShares iBoxx $ Investment Grade Corporate Bond ETF, which added 61,300,000 units, or a 23.3% increase week over week. And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest increase in inflows was the ProShares UltraShort Russell2000, which added 2,000,000 units, for a 39.9% increase in outstanding units.

The Invesco S&P 500— Equal Weight Energy ETF is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Thursday, with over 701,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 77,000. Shares of RYE were up about 8.9% on the day.

In trading on Thursday, the iShares Global Energy ETF is outperforming other ETFs, up about 8.9% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Apache, up about 19.5% and shares of Diamondback Energy, up about 18.8% on the day.

Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the SPDR Portfolio Short Term Treasury ETF, where 36,100,000 units were destroyed, or a 28.9% decrease week over week. And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the SPDR S&P Retail ETF, which lost 3,950,000 of its units, representing a 35.0% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior.

And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest increase in inflows was the ProShares UltraShort MSCI Brazil Capped, which added 200,000 units, for a 39.2% increase in outstanding units.

The Agribusiness ETF is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Wednesday, with over 196,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 51,000. Shares of MOO were down about 2.4% on the day.
