Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the iShares US Treasury Bond ETF (GOVT), where 7,400,000 units were destroyed, or a 1.4% decrease week over week. And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the WBIA ETF (WBIA), which lost 200,000 of its units, representing a 36.4% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior.

Comparing units outstanding versus one week ago at the coverage universe of ETFs at ETF Channel, the biggest inflow was seen in the iShares Gold Trust (IAU), which added 11,300,000 units, or a 1.0% increase week over week. And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest increase in inflows was the USEP ETF (USEP), which added 50,000 units, for a 40.0% increase in outstanding units.

The CEF Municipal Income ETF (XMPT) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Friday, with over 79,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 27,000. Shares of XMPT were down about 1.7% on the day.

In trading on Friday, the MLP ETF (MLPA) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 2.3% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Genesis Energy (GEL), up about 5.5% and shares of TC Pipelines (TCP), up about 5.4% on the day.

Among the largest underlying components of PWV, in morning trading today Citigroup is up about 1.5%, and Bank of America Corporation (BAC) is higher by about 1.3%.

Among the largest underlying components of IXUS, in morning trading today Alibaba Group Holding (BABA) is up about 0.9%, and iShares MSCI Russia ETF (ERUS) is up by about 0.4%.

The Vanguard Materials ETF (VAW) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Thursday, with over 527,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 65,000. Shares of VAW were up about 0.6% on the day.

In trading on Thursday, the SPDR S&P China ETF (GXC) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 1.1% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Lexinfintech Holdings (LX), up about 4.7% and shares of Cheetah Mobile (CMCM), up about 4% on the day.

And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the SPDR S&P Retail ETF (XRT), which lost 2,400,000 of its units, representing a 28.7% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior.

Among the largest underlying components of IWM, in morning trading today Novocure (NVCR) is up about 0.8%, and Haemonetics (HAE) is up by about 2.5%.
