Langkawi is an island that is about 18 miles from the coast of Malaysia.The island offers the cyclist extraordinary views of the beaches, waterfalls and tropical jungles. It is also the home of the annual Tour de Langkawi bike race. Riding along the coast is fairly easy and very enjoyable with many beachfront restaurants offering local cuisines. The only factor may be the heat during certain hours of the day. |
