The Invesco Solar ETF (TAN) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Friday, with over 295,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 111,000. Shares of TAN were up about 0.1% on the day.

In trading on Friday, the Invesco China Technology ETF (CQQQ) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 3% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Baozun (BZUN), up about 9.1% and shares of Cheetah Mobile (CMCM), up about 6.8% on the day.

Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the AMLP ETF (AMLP), where 12,700,000 units were destroyed, or a 1.3% decrease week over week. And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the DBKO ETF (DBKO), which lost 150,000 of its units, representing a 37.5% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior.

Comparing units outstanding versus one week ago at the coverage universe of ETFs at ETF Channel, the biggest inflow was seen in the ProShares UltraPro Short QQQ (SQQQ), which added 12,500,000 units, or a 22.7% increase week over week. And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest increase in inflows was the FCOM ETF (FCOM), which added 2,450,000 units, for a 39.2% increase in outstanding units.

The iShares Edge MSCI Multifactor Global ETF (ACWF) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Thursday, with over 415,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 138,000. Shares of ACWF were up about 0.5% on the day.

In trading on Thursday, the Invesco Aerospace & Defense ETF (PPA) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 1% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Perspecta (PRSP), up about 3.3% and shares of The Keyw Holding (KEYW), up about 3% on the day.

Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the Gold Miners ETF (GDX), where 9,300,000 units were destroyed, or a 1.9% decrease week over week. And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the HFXJ ETF (HFXJ), which lost 600,000 of its units, representing a 38.7% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior.

And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest increase in inflows was the IBMN ETF (IBMN), which added 100,000 units, for a 40.0% increase in outstanding units.

The Communication Services Select Sector SPDR Fund ETF (XLC) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Wednesday, with over 18.5 million shares traded versus three month average volume of about 3.6 million. Shares of XLC were off about 0.2% on the day.

In trading on Wednesday, the iShares US Financial Services ETF (IYG) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 2.6% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Goldman Sachs Group (GS), up about 8.1% and shares of Bank of America (BAC), up about 7.3% on the day.
