The Agribusiness ETF (MOO) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Thursday, with over 373,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 42,000. Shares of MOO were trading flat on the day.

In trading on Thursday, the PowerShares Water Resources Portfolio ETF (PHO) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 0.7% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Calgon Carbon (CCC), up about 62.1% and shares of Badger Meter (BMI), up about 2.1% on the day.

Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the iShares MSCI Canada ETF (EWC), where 9,500,000 units were destroyed, or a 8.3% decrease week over week. And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the WisdomTree United Kingdom Hedged Equity Fund (DXPS), which lost 150,000 of its units, representing a 20.0% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior.

Comparing units outstanding versus one week ago at the coverage universe of ETFs at ETF Channel, the biggest inflow was seen in the Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets ETF (VWO), which added 12,008,624 units, or a 0.8% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of VWO, in morning trading today Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSM) is off about 0.1%, and Industrial Services American (IDSA) is relatively unchanged.

The First Trust Mid Cap Core AlphaDEX Fund ETF is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Wednesday, with over 154,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 35,000. Shares of FNX were up about 0.3% on the day.

In trading on Wednesday, the SPDR S&P Oil & Gas Exploration & Production ETF is outperforming other ETFs, up about 2% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of QEP Resources, up about 6.1% and shares of Denbury Resources, up about 5.1% on the day.

Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the SPDR S&P 500 ETF, where 22,850,000 units were destroyed, or a 2.3% decrease week over week. Among the largest underlying components of SPY, in morning trading today Apple is down about 1.9%, and Microsoft is lower by about 0.4%.

Comparing units outstanding versus one week ago at the coverage universe of ETFs at ETF Channel, the biggest inflow was seen in the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund, which added 29,150,000 units, or a 3.0% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of XLF, in morning trading today Berkshire Hathaway Class B is off about 0.1%, and JP Morgan Chase is higher by about 0.2%.

The First Trust S&P REIT Index Fund ETF is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Tuesday, with over 319,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 68,000. Shares of FRI were off about 0.7% on the day.

In trading on Tuesday, the Vanguard Telecommunication Services ETF is outperforming other ETFs, up about 1.8% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Sprint, up about 9.2% and shares of Pdvwireless, up about 3.6% on the day.
