The iShares US Consumer Goods ETF (IYK) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Monday, with over 211,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 47,000. Shares of IYK were down about 0.4% on the day.

In trading on Monday, the Junior Gold Miners ETF (GDXJ) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 1% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Novo Resources Corp (NVO.

Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the iShares US Treasury Bond ETF (GOVT), where 8,800,000 units were destroyed, or a 3.1% decrease week over week. And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the ProShares UltraPro Short Financial Select Sector (FINZ), which lost 50,000 of its units, representing a 34.8% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior.

Comparing units outstanding versus one week ago at the coverage universe of ETFs at ETF Channel, the biggest inflow was seen in the Utilities Select Sector SPDR Fund (XLU), which added 20,500,000 units, or a 14.4% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of XLU, in morning trading today Nextera Energy (NEE) is up about 0.1%, and Duke Energy Corporation Holding (DUK) is higher by about 0.6%.

The iShares Core MSCI International Developed Markets ETF (IDEV) is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Friday, with over 1.4 million shares traded versus three month average volume of about 70,000. Shares of IDEV were up about 0.1% on the day.

In trading on Friday, the Gold Miners ETF (GDX) is outperforming other ETFs, up about 2% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Hecla Mining (HL), up about 5.6% and shares of McEwen Mining (MUX), up about 4.8% on the day.

Looking at units outstanding versus one week prior within the universe of ETFs covered at ETF Channel, the biggest outflow was seen in the iShares iBoxx $ High Yield Corporate Bond ETF, where 17,900,000 units were destroyed, or a 9.9% decrease week over week. And on a percentage change basis, the ETF with the biggest outflow was the ProShares UltraShort Consumer Goods, which lost 50,000 of its units, representing a 30.8% decline in outstanding units compared to the week prior.

Comparing units outstanding versus one week ago at the coverage universe of ETFs at ETF Channel, the biggest inflow was seen in the iShares Core S&P 500 ETF, which added 5,850,000 units, or a 1.0% increase week over week. Among the largest underlying components of IVV, in morning trading today Apple is up about 1.7%, and Microsoft is up by about 0.8%.

The First Trust Dorsey Wright International Focus 5 ETF is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Thursday, with over 719,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 206,000. Shares of IFV were up about 0.9% on the day.

In trading on Thursday, the SPDR S&P Biotech ETF is outperforming other ETFs, up about 2.6% on the day. Components of that ETF showing particular strength include shares of Arena Pharmaceuticals, up about 22.1% and shares of Deciphera Pharmaceuticals, up about 17.8% on the day.
