So I have spent the past three years working on my cd of twelve original songs and my two-hour long stage musical and, while it has been a much larger than expected ontaking and a ton of work, I have learned a great deal about myself in the process. It has been a most gratifying experience to create something from within me for others to enjoy. I have written all my music and lyrics for people my own age – those who can really relate to them. After all, there are categories of music made for almost every other group, so why shouldn’t we have a category of our own?

In closing, whether or not my cd is a commercial success (though I hope it is because it will be funding my stage musical I take great pride in knowing I have produced something that I can share with other individals that may inspire and encourage them.

So, this shout-out is for all you boomers out there! Know that it’s never too late for us to start the next phase of our lives! Think about what it is you want to do and then…go, go, go for it! I assure you, you will be happy you did.
